Everyone Deserves A Place To Feel Heard, Understood, & Supported
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, or simply trying to better understand yourself, individual therapy offers a space where you don't have to carry it alone.
At Sunflower Radiance Counseling, we believe healing begins with feeling understood. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you build resilience, gain insight, and move toward the life you want to create.
You May Benefit From Individual Therapy If...
You don't need to have a specific diagnosis or know exactly what's wrong to benefit from therapy. Individual therapy can offer a supportive space to better understand yourself, work through challenges, and create meaningful change.
-
Feeling Overwhelmed
When stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions begin to feel like more than you can manage on your own.
-
Feeling Stuck
When you keep finding yourself in patterns you don't understand or aren't sure how to change.
-
Navigating Change
When you're moving through a transition, loss, relationship change, health challenge, or another difficult experience.
-
Understanding Yourself
When you want to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences more deeply.
-
Strengthening Relationships
When you're working through boundaries, communication, connection, or recurring relationship patterns.
-
Ready for Growth
When you're looking for greater self-acceptance, confidence, resilience, or direction—not simply relief from what's difficult.
What Individual Therapy Can Be
Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you aren't quite sure what—or how to begin. Individual therapy provides a space to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you're experiencing.
At Sunflower Radiance Counseling, we believe meaningful therapy goes beyond simply managing symptoms. Together, you and your therapist can explore the experiences, beliefs, emotions, and patterns that have shaped how you understand yourself and move through the world.
Therapy can help you deepen self-awareness and self-acceptance while discovering new ways of responding that align with your values, needs, and goals.
We believe growth and self-acceptance can exist together. You can honor where you've been and where you are while creating space for where you want to go.
What Can Individual Therapy Help With?
What Therapy With Us Feels Like
-
🌻Understood, Not Judged
We take time to understand your experiences, emotions, and perspective. Therapy is a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing without having to have the right words or everything figured out.
-
🌻Curious About What Shaped You
Together, we can explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that have influenced how you see yourself and navigate relationships and challenges. We approach these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.
-
🌻Personalized to You
There isn't one right way to do therapy. We consider your needs, goals, experiences, and pace when determining what our work together looks like. Your therapy may evolve as you do, and we'll adjust our work together as your needs and goals change.
-
🌻Focused on Growth & Self-Acceptance
We believe you can accept yourself while continuing to grow. Therapy can help you develop greater self-awareness, understand your needs and values, and make intentional choices that move you toward the life you want.

Therapy can sometimes bring up difficult emotions, and it’s okay to let your therapist know when something doesn’t feel right. Your therapist wants to understand your experience, including when you feel uncomfortable, misunderstood, or unsure about the direction of therapy. Talking openly about these concerns can become an important part of the therapeutic process.
And if you ultimately feel that your therapist isn’t the right fit, that’s okay too. Finding a therapist you feel comfortable working with matters. Your therapist can help you think through what you need and, when appropriate, support you in finding a better fit.
