Vibrant sunflower field: A metaphorical journey to mental health healing, embracing hope and resilience in the warmth of a new day.
Male psychodynamic and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist

Clay Klaus-Wade

(he/they)

I believe that we've each arrived at this moment living a life shaped by what's happened to us and around us, and by how we've come to survive and understand it. We are, unavoidably and importantly, a product of our entire lived experience, whether we're consciously aware of it or not.

My approach is grounded in psychodynamic, culturally responsive, and feminist perspectives. I strive to create a supportive, affirming space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, fears, and experiences without judgment. Together, we'll make sense of patterns, navigate life's complexities, and deepen your understanding of yourself. As an LGBTQ+ affirming practitioner and proud member of the queer community, I value creating a space where people can show up authentically and feel seen, respected, and supported.

I work with adults (18+) navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and life's challenges. I also enjoy supporting individuals with ADHD, OCD, and ASD. If you'd like to learn more, reach out and request an appointment.
