Integrative Therapy
THERAPY CAN BE SHAPED AROUND YOU, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
No single approach works for every person or every experience. Integrative therapy brings together ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches based on who you are, what you're experiencing, and what feels most helpful to you. Rather than asking you to fit into one way of doing therapy, your therapist can adapt the work as your needs, goals, and understanding of yourself evolve.
Different Approaches, Thoughtfully Brought Together
Integrative therapy recognizes that no single therapeutic approach can fully reflect every person's experiences, needs, and goals. Instead of relying on one way of understanding or approaching therapy, your therapist can thoughtfully draw from different perspectives based on what feels most relevant to you and the work you're doing together.
Integration isn't about using more techniques or changing approaches without purpose. It's about bringing different ways of understanding and supporting you into one connected therapeutic experience.
Perspectives That Can Shape Integrative Therapy
Integrative therapy can draw from different ways of understanding your experiences. Depending on your needs and goals, your therapist may bring together perspectives that explore relationships, thoughts and behaviors, emotions, and the mind-body connection.
-
🌻 Relational & Psychodynamic
Explore how past experiences, relationships, attachment patterns, and ways of protecting yourself may shape how you understand yourself and relate to others today.
-
🌻 Cognitive & Behavioral
Explore how thoughts, behaviors, and coping patterns may influence what you're experiencing and discover new ways of responding to challenges in everyday life.
-
🌻 Emotional & Experiential
Make space to notice, understand, and experience emotions more fully while exploring what they may reveal about your needs, experiences, and patterns.
-
🌻 Somatic & Mind-Body
Notice how emotions, stress, and experiences show up in your body while building greater awareness of your physical responses and nervous system.
One Person, More Than One Way to Heal
Healing doesn't always happen in one way. At different points in therapy, you may need space to understand your past, make sense of a relationship, connect with an emotion, notice what is happening in your body, or find a different way of responding to something you're facing today. Integrative therapy makes room for these different paths while keeping you—and what matters to you—at the center of the work.
Your Path Through Healing
There isn't one approach that works for everyone. Therapy can be tailored to your experiences, needs, and goals, drawing from different approaches to support you along the way.

Integrative therapy is collaborative, so you can talk with your therapist about what feels helpful—or what doesn't.
-
No. Integrative therapy isn't about fitting as many techniques as possible into your sessions. Your therapist may primarily work from one perspective at certain times and draw from another when it supports the work you're doing. The goal is for the different approaches to feel connected and intentional, rather than like a collection of unrelated techniques
